AI modeling

Draft BPMN from a description, one batch at a time

Write how the work runs, or start from a template. Wisp, the AI in Geist, adds lanes, tasks and gateways in Blueprint group by group and highlights each group as it lands. The changes from one request form one batch that you keep or undo.

Describe how the work runs today.Lanes come first, so every step lands with its owner. Each group is highlighted, in the order the work flows.Review the whole draft, then keep it or undo it in one step.
Targeted edits

Wisp changes the elements you name and leaves the rest

Like a coding agent working on a source file, Wisp edits a model in place. It addresses each element by its id and checks the model after every write. An id that does not exist stops the whole batch, and if a name fits several elements, Wisp asks which one you mean. Each request becomes one batch that you review, then keep or undo.

  • Renames, property changes and new paths in one batch
  • Read, Review or Write: you set what Wisp may change
Ask for a change to a model you already have.Wisp names each element by its id. An unknown id stops the whole batch.Only those elements change. The rest of the model stays as it was.Every write is checked, and Wisp finishes only once the model passes. The whole request is one batch: keep it or undo it.
Checks and history

The linter checks AI edits like your own

Lint flags missing names, disconnected elements and gateway mistakes, whoever made the change. Beautify tidies the layout, and the history lists every batch with a compare view.

Lint lists each finding in the Issues tab and rings it on the canvas.Beautify redraws the layout. The overlap is gone, and the logic findings stay for you to decide.Every change goes into the history, where you can compare versions or undo it.
Guided modeling

Colleagues without BPMN training can contribute

Guided mode interviews the people who do the work and turns their answers into a draft. Their manager reviews it before it goes further.

How guided modeling works
Guided mode is for the people who do the work. They describe it as they would to a new colleague.Questions come one at a time, and "I don't know" is always an answer. The draft puts each step with the role that does it.A change arrives as a preview. Your process stays as it was until you apply it.Submitting sends the process to your manager for review.
How it works

From a description to a reviewed model

  1. Step 1

    Describe

Write or paste how the process runs today. Name the roles, and each step lands in its lane.

  2. Step 2

    Draft

Wisp works through tool calls: lanes first, then tasks, gateways and events.

  3. Step 3

    Review

Keep or undo the batch from each request. The newest batch stays highlighted until you decide.

  4. Step 4

    Check

Lint runs on every change, and the history keeps each version to compare or restore.

FAQ

Questions about AI modeling

What does the AI change, and when?

Wisp adds or edits elements through tool calls. In Review mode the changes from one request are applied and highlighted as one batch, and you keep or undo it. In Read mode it changes nothing. In Write mode it applies changes directly, with undo and a change record.

Does it work on existing models?

Yes. Open a model and ask for a change: rename a step, set a property such as a flow condition, or insert a missing exception path. Wisp changes only those elements, and you review the batch the same way as a new draft.

Which language can I write in?

English or German. The interface is available in both.

Is the result standard BPMN?

Yes. Models are BPMN 2.0 and export as XML, SVG, PNG, PDF or JSON.

How is this different from guided modeling?

AI modeling is the full modeler with Wisp as a drafting partner. Guided mode is a question-and-answer flow for contributors, and their manager reviews what they submit.
