Blueprint · BPMN process modeling

Describe the process. Blueprint draws the BPMN.

Type how the work runs. Wisp, the AI in Geist, adds the model in batches you keep or undo, and the linter checks each change as it lands.

Describe how the work runs today.Lanes come first, so every step lands with its owner. Each group is highlighted, in the order the work flows.Review the whole draft, then keep it or undo it in one step.
AI drafting

Every AI change arrives as a batch you can review

Blueprint adds pools, lanes, tasks and gateways group by group. In Review mode, the changes from one request form a highlighted batch you keep or undo. Read mode makes no edits; Write mode applies changes directly, with undo and history.

  • Keep or undo per batch, with the number of changed elements
  • In a model you already have, Wisp changes only the elements you name
How targeted edits work
Say what should happen, in your own words.Parallel checks get a fork and a join, so onboarding waits until both are back. The newest group stays highlighted. Earlier ones settle into the model.Keep the draft, or undo every change in one click.
Guided modeling

The people who do the work can model it

Guided mode is on by default. Blueprint asks a contributor about their steps in plain language and shows each suggested change as a preview until they apply it.

  • No BPMN knowledge needed to contribute
  • Submitting sends the draft to the contributor's manager
Guided mode is for the people who do the work. They describe it as they would to a new colleague.Questions come one at a time, and "I don't know" is always an answer. The draft puts each step with the role that does it.A change arrives as a preview. Your process stays as it was until you apply it.Submitting sends the process to your manager for review.
Quality and history

Catch modeling errors while you edit

The linter flags missing names, disconnected elements and gateway mistakes as you work. Beautify tidies the layout in one step, and the history tab lists every change with a compare view.

Lint lists each finding in the Issues tab and rings it on the canvas.Beautify redraws the layout. The overlap is gone, and the logic findings stay for you to decide.Every change goes into the history, where you can compare versions or undo it.
